Baby It’s Cold Outside

Baby, it’s COLD outside. It’s one of the coldest times of the year. Many in the country are watching the snow pile up around their house. In central Ohio where we live, we received just a dusting. But it’s still COLD outside and that means focusing on indoor activities. One of the primary activities I’m undertaking is writing my very first book. This book will involve two of my biggest passions – writing & providing gold-star service. Over the years, I’ve seen how the level of service at restaurants, department stores, call-centers & all other types of service vendors has taken a nose dive. Why is this? I have some thoughts & observations. On the flip-side, there are still customer service superstars out there who “get it” and know how to knock it out of the park when it comes to serving. I’m going to share some with you some of these customer service superstars & see if we can get into their minds to find out what makes them tick. My book will be designed to illustrate the deficiencies & the strengths of modern day service & find ways to challenge & encourage those in the service industry to step up their game & deliver outstanding service day in & day out. I have a name picked out for the book & have purchased a URL with that very name. The title is secret for now, but it’s catchy & I think you’ll enjoy it, including the content of the book. I’m excited to not only share my voice artists skills with clients, but also my skills & knowledge in gold-star service.
